We may have already talked about the soon to be released iPhone 5 cases along with its design mockups. But did you know that the Chinese versions have already gone further? Yes, they have begun coming up with the iPhone 5 knockoffs that are based on the iPhone 5 cases even right before its actual launch. It showed some tapered edged design that is the same as the leaked case looks. This version though does not have the switch for mute that is placed on the opposite side as was previously seen in the designs. It also maintains the usual look of where the home button is instead of the elongated design.

The actual body measures about 7mm in thickness while the iPhone 4 is at 9.3mm. The said device is considered to be an iPhone 5 version in the Chinese market. So far we have been getting news and rumors about this upcoming gadget in a confused manner and very complex details. There are some news that say it will have a complete redesign and will somehow take more of the look of the iPod Touch 4G. On the other hand, there are also some reports that say it will arrive with a lot of more improvement in its features. They say it will have a speedier processor, a camera set at 8 megapixel just similar to the iPhone 3GS and the iPhone 3G.

Hence, it can be truly interesting to find what will be the look of this coming iPhone 5.
