The rumors are all coming up that iPhone 5 will be offered by the third biggest carrier in the industry which is Sprint during the latter part of this year. According to some reliable news sources, this gadget will be launched by Apple come middle part of October. And it will be Sprint Nextel Corp who will first be selling it. This is another great move for Apple to tap another channel that has big reputation in the industry already. The timing though for its launch may not be able to reach the point of contributing to the overall sales of the company for its fiscal fourth quarter.

When it was reported that Apple was doing some tests on a dual mode iPhone 5 which runs on iOS 5, it made some question whether it would also be user friendly to the CDMA network of Sprint. There are also some reports which say that Sprint shall offer iPhone 4 as well which everyone assumes to be the more affordable 8GB iPhone 4 that will soon come along with the launch of the iPhone 5. One thing is true, this rumor is working double time today.

This could truly be amazing news for everyone especially at Sprint counting to about 52 million subscribers, if it would be proven true. The company might launch the iPhone 4 and 5 at prices which are discounted. The iPhone 5 gadget will also be made available for Verizon and AT&T but this is the first time that it will be made available for Sprint.

Of course, this is not the very first time that we heard such rumors, right? However, the first few rumors about it only revolved around iPhone 4. Sprint has been losing some subscribers lately and this is one reason why they had to compete with Verizon and AT&T. Of all the companies mentioned, it is Sprint alne who can offer unlimited data plan which can lure a lot of customers away from the other networks.

But there is still no news whether the iPhone of Sprint will be made available with WiMax or will it be a 3G phone only. This is the difference made by AT&T or Verizon who have been offering consistently the 4G service for more than a year now. So far, there could be confusion between the dates of when it will be released and when the phones are just announced. Just stay tuned with us, and we will surely keep you updated with all these.
