Jailbreaking the iOS 5

It was the MuscleNerd team of the development team of iPhone which announce that the iOS 5 has been recently jailbroken. It was that fast since it has been just less than one whole day since Apple released the iOS 5 during the WWDC 2011 Keynote. It was through the tweet of MuscleNerd that this news broke out. The tweet also mentions that it works fine as seen through its fast testing.

 

It is at present considered to be a tethered jailbreak. This means that you have to connect your device which has iOS to a computer for your each reboot. There was also photos published on the version of the iPod Touch which has the iOS 5 program that is jailbroken already. The pictures revealed show the iSSH application installed plus the Cydia that runs perfectly on the iPod Touch 4G which has the iOS 5.

 

When Apple released the iOS 5, many were impressed with its new features. However, the concerns made were more into the jailbreaking aspect of the program. However, it was MuscleNerd who contested that this should not be seen as a problem at all. His exact answer to this issue was states as,

 

“over the air delta updates of iOS should be fine for JBers (even if Apple didn’t let you disable them, the JB itself can”
