Tech website AppleInsider reported that’s a Foxconn recruiter said that Apple’s iPhone 5 will be released in June.
Foxconn is the largest manufacturing partner of Apple that is based in China. According to the report, the source said the probable release of the upcoming generation of iPhone during a program on TV Tokyo’s “World Business Satellite” show. There is a footage taken from the Foxconn’s recruitment office where the interview was conducted.
Foxconn is looking to hire more employees this month. The interviewer asked the Foxconn recruiter of how many employees the factory is looking to hire. The recruiter answered that Foxconn is looking for 18,000 more employees to work on the fifth generation of iPhone. This is followed with a statement that the factory is in need of more employees due to the overwhelming demand for iPhone 5 and because it will come out in June.
The recruiter used both iPhone 5 and fifth generation of iPhone during the courses of the interview. However, technically, iPhone 5 is the sixth generation of iPhone. But just the fact that the recruiter said that it will be coming out in June highly suggests that the recruiter means the sixth generation of iPhone.
The new iPhone and iPhone 5 are some of the monikers that are prevalent as to the namesake for the new iOS device. However, a lot of people are skeptical that the Cupertino-based company will be launching another version of iPhone after a year since the release of iPhone 4S, which is still making immense sales. Moreover, the source is not that credible.
According to the rumors, iPhone 5 will be released in the fall of 2012, which will sport the same screen size; support 4G LTE like the new iPad 3 and will come with a new micro dock connector.

iPad 3 Powered by Dual Core A5X Chip – Analyst

Posted by unlocker under Uncategorized on Tuesday Apr 3, 2012

It is almost certain that the new iPad 3 will be equipped with high resolution Retina Display; however, it is still unclear if the much anticipated device will be equipped with quad-core A6 chip of dual-core A5X chip.
Based on the code found in the iOS 5.1 beta, Apple may be working on both quad-core A6 chip and dual-core A5X chip. It seems that Apple may end up using the quad-core A6 chip in iPad 3 and the dual-core A5X in the next iPhone.
However BlueFin Research Partners analyst Steve Mullane said to AllThingsD, iPad 3 may be powered by the dual-core A5X chip, according to supply chain sources.
Based on the information coming from the semiconductor supply chain suggests that Apple’s chip electronics partner Samsung is not capable of manufacturing a 28-nanometer quad-core chips, as the A6 is presumed to be.
“[Samsung's] Austin logic fab … supports the mass production of the 45-nanometer AAPL A5 processor, and is ramping on a 32-nanometer process,” Mullane says. “Since the A6 processor is based on a 28-nanometer process, we believe the 32-nanometer ramp validates the recent rumors that the iPad 3 will likely use a higher speed, die-shrink version of the A5 dual-core processor, named the A5X processor, as opposed to the next-generation A6 quad-core processor.”
However, the long wait will soon be over as Apple will soon unveil the next generation of iPad on March 7.
