Developers Invited to Submit iPad Apps to AppStore by Apple

Apple has formally invited app developers for the iPad to submit their applications for the AppStore. The majority of the developers will rely on the iPad simulator to develop their applications on. Only a select set of developers have actually been provided iPads for development. The Apple iPad is set to launch on April 3rd, 2010.

iPad will begin shipping soon and your opportunity to be part of the grand opening of the iPad App Store starts today. Submit your iPad app now for an initial review by the App Review Team and receive feedback on its readiness for the grand opening.

Submit Your App by March 27.

  • Build and test your iPad app using iPhone SDK 3.2 beta 5 available on the iPhone Dev Center. Only iPad apps built with iPhone SDK 3.2 beta 5 will be accepted for this initial review.
  • Upload your distribution signed app through iTunes Connect by Saturday, March 27, 5pm PDT.
  • The App Review Team will review your app on iPad and email you details about the readiness of your app.
  • You will also receive additional information about submitting your app for final review before iPad ships.
  • Only apps submitted for the initial review will be considered for the grand opening of the iPad App Store.

    Apple iPad Release Date Price

    Don’t mistake the iPad from the iPod. This isn’t a typo, but is actually Apple’s innovative and latest computer which will be launched this April 3rd. This nifty netbook device merges the iPod Touch multi-functionality, presenting its audio, video, gaming, and web-browsing features but has a higher screen resolution and a bigger size.

    The version that will be released this April is going to be WiFi enabled which means that Internet users will delight in its web-browsing functions. Plus, there will be a 3G connection to suit all people’s netbook needs. In fact, Steve Jobs claimed that the reason for creating this kind of device is to hammer in on laptops and smartphones in regards to features, functions, and categories embedded in its programs. Of course, the Apple iPad is not something cheap, already being paralleled to the price of the iPhone years before. People will surely love the Apple iPad which offers optimized features, services, and software.

    The pricing of the Apple iPad can either make or break you, depending on your budget. As unveiled at Apple’s press conference last January 2010, the Apple iPad WiFi enabled has a price range of $499 to $699 depending on its memory. From the 16GB, 32GB, to 64GB, these iPad models will begin shipping in the U.S. and selected countries by April 2010.

    For versions that are WiFi and 3G enabled, but does not include monthly service contracts, the price laid will be $629 to $829 for the 16GB, 32GB to 64GB. One can even nab prepaid data plan deals with AT&T Wireless. For those who cannot wait, there are pre-orders set at most Apple shelves by next week. International pricing and global accessibility will be announced at a much later date though Apple looks ahead to have worldwide carrier deals geared up by June 2010.
