iH8sn0w, the development team that creates hacks and “jailbreaks” for Apple gadgets like iPhone and iPod touch, has come up with software that will allow users of iOS4 to develop customized firmware with .ipsw file extension. Sn0wbreeze is the equivalent of PwnageTool in Windows version used in both iPhone 3Gs and iPhone 3G. Aside from creating firmware, this program will give
users the liberty to update and hack their iPhones with iOS4. Furthermore, the users can now exploit wallpapers and screensavers with Sn0wbreeze. Some of the wallpaper features are not available with just iOS4. It also has multitasking ability that allows simultaneous application and programs working on the same time.

Last Tuesday, iH8sn0w has reportedly released the latest PwnageTool 4.0 which is solely dedicated for Mac customers. Sn0wbreeze and PwnageTool 4.0 support the following models iPhone and iPod touch: iPhone 2G, iPhone 3G, iPhone 3G[S] - old bootrom or non MC, iPod Touch 1G and iPod Touch 2G - non MC. However, iPhone 3G might require for DFU before hacking.
