It is recently discovered that one can create and update notes through Siri.
When Apple unveiled iPhone 4S’ personal voice assistant Siri, the company mentioned that it works with Notes app. However, little that people know is that Siri can be used to create and update notes.
One can tell Siri to “Make a new note” and gives a title to the note by simply saying, “Make a new note packing list.” Updating a note is also a breeze by simply ordering Siri to update your note and enumerating the contents. For example, “Update my note toothbrush, deodorant, book, tickets, camera.” If you have many notes, Siri will ask which note to update and will provide you with a list. The user can either tap the note to update or simply say the first line. The user can also view or check the notes by simply asking Siri to list the notes.
However, Siri cannot delete the note and share it via email. The user has to do those manually. However, it is always good to know that Siri can do more things with the assumption that it can understand what you are saying.

An updated version of the Corona iOS 5.0.1 Untether jailbreak can fix the problems with iBooks DRM.
The new version of the untether jailbreak is now available in Cydia. Another team of iOS hackers and developers, iPhone Dev Team, also released an updated version of Redsn0w 0.9.10b5 yesterday that can also fix the iBooks DRM issue.
Online store Cydia founder and developer Jay Freeman or also known as saurik opt for the Corona version since it seems to be an easier option. Saurik even announced in Twitter the availability of the jailbreaks. He tweeted, “Corona 1.0-6: @planetbeing put a lot of work into solving iBooks image loading bugs. All users (however jailbroken) on 5.0.1 should install.”
However, upon installation of the jailbreak, dependency issues arise. Thus, the corrected and released Corona 1.0-7 will be released. The iPhone Dev Team released some details about the fix. “@planetbeing wrote a utility called “crazeles” that overcomes jailbreak detection by iBooks that would cause about 10% of images to show incorrectly. This fix is similar to the “hunnypot” fix that @comex wrote for the 4.x jailbreak,” the team said via Twitter.
Saurik has recommended all users (except for iPhone 3GS with older bootrom) who have jailbroken their iOS device, which includes iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (except for iPhone 3GS with older bootrom), iPad 2, iPad 1, iPod touch 3rd gen, iPod touch 4th gen to install the latest version of Corona 5.0.1 jailbreak from Cydia. So it basically means that it doesn’t matter if you’ve used Absinthe jailbreak or Redsn0w to jailbreak your iOS device, one can install the Corona 1.0-7 jailbreak.
However, iPhone users are constantly reminded to back up their phones before proceeding with the installation of any jailbreak app or updates.
