Turn your iPhone 4S into a flashlight with WeeFlashlight.
WeeFlashlight is a third party custom widget for the all-new iOS 5 notification center.
There has been a number of third party custom widget for the iOS 5 notification center. One of these is a custom widget that will enable LED Flash that will turn your iPhone 4S and iPhone 4 into a flashlight. WeeFlashlight is already available in Cydia.
In Cydia, here is the description of the custom widget: “Use your iPhone as a flashlight and turn it ON or OFF right from the Notification Center. Much easier than any other torch app from the AppStore. (This tweak only works for devices, which have a camera flash build inside)”
Once you installed the custom widget, you should see the status of the of the LED flash in the notification center. By tapping on Flashlight you can now enable or disable the LED flash. Since this is available in the Notification Center, you can simply access it by just swiping on the status bar from any application.
There are a lot of jailbreak tweaks such as FlashLock that allows iPhone users to enable or disable LED Flash right from the Lock screen. The iOS 5 also allows you to quickly access the Camera from the lock screen. WeeFlashlight can also be a good alternative.
This custom widget is only available in jailbroken iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S as they both have LED flash.
