An updated version of the Corona iOS 5.0.1 Untether jailbreak can fix the problems with iBooks DRM.
The new version of the untether jailbreak is now available in Cydia. Another team of iOS hackers and developers, iPhone Dev Team, also released an updated version of Redsn0w 0.9.10b5 yesterday that can also fix the iBooks DRM issue.
Online store Cydia founder and developer Jay Freeman or also known as saurik opt for the Corona version since it seems to be an easier option. Saurik even announced in Twitter the availability of the jailbreaks. He tweeted, “Corona 1.0-6: @planetbeing put a lot of work into solving iBooks image loading bugs. All users (however jailbroken) on 5.0.1 should install.”
However, upon installation of the jailbreak, dependency issues arise. Thus, the corrected and released Corona 1.0-7 will be released. The iPhone Dev Team released some details about the fix. “@planetbeing wrote a utility called “crazeles” that overcomes jailbreak detection by iBooks that would cause about 10% of images to show incorrectly. This fix is similar to the “hunnypot” fix that @comex wrote for the 4.x jailbreak,” the team said via Twitter.
Saurik has recommended all users (except for iPhone 3GS with older bootrom) who have jailbroken their iOS device, which includes iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS (except for iPhone 3GS with older bootrom), iPad 2, iPad 1, iPod touch 3rd gen, iPod touch 4th gen to install the latest version of Corona 5.0.1 jailbreak from Cydia. So it basically means that it doesn’t matter if you’ve used Absinthe jailbreak or Redsn0w to jailbreak your iOS device, one can install the Corona 1.0-7 jailbreak.
However, iPhone users are constantly reminded to back up their phones before proceeding with the installation of any jailbreak app or updates.

Tech giant Apple released an updated version of the iOS-like AirPort Utility 6.0 for Mac OS X Lion, which is very similar with the iOS app for iPhone and iPad.
This update is available through the Software Update for the Mac OS X Lion. Apart from the AirPort Utility 6.0 for Mac, Apple also released AirPort Base Station and Time Capsule Firmware Update 7.6.1. The firmware updates can be installed via Airport Utility on the Mac or iOS.
“This update is for all 802.11n AirPort Express, 802.11n AirPort Extreme and Time Capsule models. It fixes an issue with wireless performance and provides support for remote access to an AirPort disk or a Time Capsule hard drive with an iCloud account,” according to Apple’s statement for the release of the app.
The AirPort Utility app is a feature of Apple devices that allows users to effectively manage the device’s Wi-Fi network and AirPort base station routers such as AirPort Express, Airport Extreme and Time Capsule.
According to the Cupertino-based iOS company, the AirPort Utility can be used to set up and manage the Wi-Fi network of the device. One can change the base station and network settings, or manage advanced features such as security modes, wireless channels, and more.
